Core pillars of brand
Starting with a collaborative brand discovery workshop, we explored Kent’s USPs and refined these into 4 key pillars: Connectivity, Cost, Skills and Quality of Life.
Digging deeper into each pillar, we soon realised there are many different reasons to locate a business in Kent; the ‘101 reasons Kent makes business sense’ campaign was born. Drawing on statistics from district partners and prestigious businesses, the campaign positions the county as the optimum destination for businesses.
Our integrated multi-channel campaign ran across press, online, video content, billboards. PR as well as being supported by search, we created a dedicated landing page and social media activity with the hashtag #whykent101.

Our marketing partnership has driven measurable results, generating a 78% increase in enquiries year-on-year. a 132% increase in mentions on social media, a 27% increase in unique visitors to the website and our PPC activity resulted in a 23% increase in property portal enquiries.
A fresh PR approach has also generated 11 pieces of coverage in 4 months, providing over 31k coverage views, and featured in business and regional titles including Kent Online. #whykent101 received engagement retweeted by several organisations including AshfordFor and Visit Kent.
