In September 2014 Southeastern were re-awarded the license to continue to run the South East Network until June 2018. Zest were engaged to develop the campaign identity and supporting collateral to communicate news of the award to the media and external audiences.
Mindful of the challenges facing Southeastern staff, and inspired by the idea of evolution and the corporate promise of development and change, we shaped a friendly and engaging look and feel around the everyday faces of Southeastern, supported by the headline ‘Meeting the challenge’. The identity was channelled through video, a press pack and a host of supplementary marketing collateral. The video is a powerful feature of the campaign. Zest managed all aspects of the video production.
The result is engaging storytelling through kinetic typography, the use of live action tracing, tilt shift photography and 2.5D stills animation. Not only is the story informative and engaging, the video is a true development of Southeastern’s identity and was very well received, both internally and externally.
Zest worked to a very tight timeline, delivering the entire project within two weeks!
