This week Zest the Agency and Towers Design agreed a merger that will double the combined turnover for both companies. 18 year old founder and CEO of Towers Design, Ben Towers takes the position of Managing Director of ‘Zest Live’ where he will build his influencer, content and socially disruptive arm of Zest the Agency’s offering, as part of the merger deal. Ben was recently named at the top of “The Times Super Teen Power List” and was quoted by Richard Branson as “one of the UK’s most exciting entrepreneurs”.

Ben takes a seat on the Board of Directors at Zest the Agency and will relocate his current Towers Design operation to the Zest offices in Kent. His expertise in social marketing and influencer relations will direct the next iteration of Zest the Agency’s expansion.

Zest the Agency’s Managing Director, Belinda Collins describes the merger as, “a huge milestone in achieving the vision we have for this company. I’m determined to create an agency that continually innovates to delight and surprise clients with jaw-dropping creativity and incisive strategy. I believe that Ben brings the expertise to push client campaigns that inch further, only continuing our trajectory to be the most disruptive agency in the UK.”

Harnessing Ben’s connections and experience in influencer marketing, Zest the Agency offers clients another layer to enhance the influence of marketing, digital and public relations campaigns. With Zest the Agency, Ben will lead the team to create highly influentially digital communities that clients can tap into in a very data-driven, targeted way.

According to Ben Towers, “This merger paves the way in offering clients the next evolution in communications. It brings together traditional marketing, digital and social strategy, layering it with targeted, content and influencer driven marketing. I’m really excited to be joining Zest to lead the content, influencer and social team in creating successful worldwide campaigns for clients.”

Zest the Agency and Towers Design have been working in partnership since last Summer. In addition to this focus on digital and social, the agency has appointed a Director of Digital, who will join the agency in late April, with a very strong London agency background. This role will bolster the digital strategy and develop a sophisticated, creative digital offering for clients, closely linked with Towers’ influencer, content and social offering.

The expansion of the agency follows the recent high profile appointment of Director of PR, Duncan Larcombe to lead the growth of the public relations team.
