At Zest we’re incredibly passionate about family businesses and our alliance with family businesses has only grown stronger since meeting Family Business Place, Anita and her wonderful family in 2017.

We’re an agency whose roots have been built in Kent but we’re working nationally and internationally. We have a span of clients from local restaurants and leisure attractions through to borough and county councils and major international blue chips.

The size of the business is not important to us, what’s of utmost importance to us is whether we can bring real marketing value and deliver meaningful ROI for our clients.

Here is a brief introduction to some of the family businesses in our portfolio:

1st generation family business, the Juice Executive, owned by Alexandra Auger, along with her brother, mother and father. Juice Executive and Zest are practically neighbours on the same industrial estate in Medway and we started working with Alex late 2017. We’ve been busy working on brand and packaging solutions for her over the last few months and you can see the work here.
2nd generation family business Optimum, a rapidly growing and incredibly successful business, needed strategic marketing planning and execution to help them ensure their growth curve continues. Read the detail here.
The Williams Brothers, Neal, Gareth and Paul set up Priority Freight in 1996. They’ve built an incredibly successful business and they have a very firm vision for continued growth. Their vision is to be Europe’s leading provider of emergency and time-critical logistics solutions by 2020. Zest are fully invested on this journey with them, as marketing and comms plays a critical role in achieving this vision. Read more here
Dorothy Purdew, 74, opened her first health farm, Frimleys, in 1970. With her son Stephen, she went on to buy Henlow Grange, Springs, Forest Mere and finally Tring – famously known as the Champneys brand. We worked with Champneys throughout 2017 supporting with PR, communications, event management, concept development, artworking and packaging. Read more here.
